Building surveys

Building surveys are commonly used as part of the process of buying a house to look at potential problems that could cost you money at a later date. There are three main levels of surveys used for home buying – a home condition report, a building survey and a Home Purchase Report. The home condition report is the basic way to check for visible problems around the home while the Home Purchase report goes beyond it and also includes a valuation to help with the sale price.

We also offer other services to help you develop your home or to build your new one. These include building surveys which are ideal for existing properties that need some renovation work. The aim is to ensure the property is structurally sound or to see what work is needed before renovation can start.
